Getting to Campus

The Burke's campus is easily accessible via public transportation. Many students take the MUNI bus lines 1 California or 38/38R Geary to stops within one to two blocks of the school.

In addition to public transportation options, Burke’s offers three fee-based bus routes for interested families traveling from Marin, the Noe Valley/Southwest neighborhoods, and the Northside Pacific Heights neighborhoods. Our goal is to enhance and support our geographic diversity, make our school more accessible for families, and move forward to make Burke’s more inclusive to our whole school community, wherever its members may live.

Students can ride any day during the school week for a fixed fee of $2900 for the Marin Route and $2500 for the San Francisco Northside and Noe Valley Southwest Routes. Families receiving a Collaborative Tuition award are offered pro-rated fees for the transportation program.

For more information about the Burke’s Transportation Program, please contact our Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, Renita LiVolsi.
