At Burke's, Max chairs the Advancement Committee and serves on the Governance Committee.
Max Boyer Glynn ‘94 is originally from San Francisco and attended Burke’s School, University High School, and Vassar College. Upon graduation, Max moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of working in the film industry. She started her career at FilmColony working for Richard Gladstein, then worked at Industry Entertainment and at Weed Road at Warner Brothers Studio for Academy-award-winning writer and producer Akiva Goldsman. Moving back to San Francisco in 2007, Max joined the Burke’s Alumnae Board where she served as VP of Development and Alumnae co-chair for Burke’s most recent capital campaign, setting records for Alumnae participation. Max currently serves as a Trustee for the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco where she helped raise the largest dollar amount to date in the DeYoungsters benefit history and pivoted the party online, resulting in the DeYoungsters Art Party 2021 winning the Education Professional Network of the American Alliance of Museum’s national prize for Innovation and Education-Pandemic edition. Past board experience includes The Foundation of City College of San Francisco, The Museo ItaloAmericano and The San Francisco Film Society.
